Our custom built accessibility ramps provide a safe and convenient way for people to access their homes. We can design and build a solution that is tailored to your specific needs. These ramps can be made of a variety of materials, such as aluminum, steel, wood or composite. All ramps meet ADA requirements to ensure safe use.

Accessibility ramps should have a gentle slope to allow users to easily and safely navigate the incline. The slope should be no steeper than 1:12, which means that for every inch of rise, there should be 12 inches of ramp length.

The width of an accessibility ramp in a residential application should be at least 36 inches wide to accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Landings should be provided at the top and bottom of the ramp and at any points where the ramp changes direction. These landings should be at least 60 inches by 60 inches to allow for adequate turning space for a wheelchair.

Handrails should be provided on both sides of the ramp and should be at a height between 34 and 38 inches above the ramp surface. The handrails should be sturdy and easy to grip

Our go to materials for these projects are pressure-treated wood and composite decking. The pressure treated lumber is a cost-effective and durable option for deck and ramp framing. It is treated with chemicals that make it resistant to rot, insects, and decay. The composite decking is made from a combination of wood fibers and plastic materials, making it low-maintenance and resistant to rot, insects, and decay.
